Fill a bathtub or sink with cool or lukewarm water. Add a small amount of a gentle detergent that is specifically designed for wool or delicate fabrics.

Place the jacket in the water and gently switch it around. Rinse the jacket thoroughly with cool or lukewarm water until all the soap is removed.

Gently squeeze out the excess water from the coat, but do not wring or twist it.

Lay the jacket flat on a clean towel and roll it up to remove any remaining water.

Unroll the towel and reshape the jacket. Do not hang the coat to dry, as this can cause stretching and distortion of the fabric.

Allow the coat to air dry on a flat surface, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
